Portrait 9:16 and landscape 16:9 from the same shoot

Film upright for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, or landscape for Rightmove, YouTube and websites. Output is 1080p either way.

In brief

VideoMotion Studio exports portrait 1080×1920 for social platforms and landscape 1920×1080 for portals and the web. Film in the orientation you need. The editor applies speed ramps to the footage you uploaded; it does not reframe a landscape clip into a true 9:16 capture.

When to film portrait

Use portrait when the destination is Instagram Reels, TikTok or YouTube Shorts. Hold the phone upright for the whole walkthrough so rooms fill the frame.

When to film landscape

Use landscape for longer portal films and websites. You can keep both cuts as separate projects from the same visit.

Your next walkthrough could be a finished video.

Upload phone footage, review the ramps, and export a portrait or landscape cut.
